General sonography uses ultrasound imaging to assess soft tissues, organs and other body structures without ionising radiation.

Depending on the clinical indication, examinations may include abdomen, pelvis, thyroid, breast, scrotum, soft tissue and other ultrasound studies requested by the referring doctor.
